Project Management Professional (PMP) |
|
PMI™ Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is the most
important industry-recognized certification for project managers.
Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP demonstrates that you have the
experience, education and competency to successfully lead and direct
projects.
This recognition is seen through increased marketability to employers
and higher salary; according to thePMI Salary Survey — Sixth Edition,
a PMP increases your salary up to 10- 20% more than your
non-credentialed colleagues and peers.
Project management is a very specialised and often complex task, and
requires more training than the average programmer or executive might
expect in very specific organisational tasks. It Enables you to better
evaluate the talents and skills of others. With the discipline to master
the material for the certification, you are in a better position to
evaluate the skills of others. You have had the opportunity to evaluate
your own strengths and weaknesses in the process of earning the
certification, and have a broader understanding of the skills and
toolsets that can be effective.
The PMP recognizes demonstrated competence in leading and directing
project teams. If you are an experienced project manager looking to
solidify your skills, stand out to employers and maximize your earning
potential, the PMP credential is the right choice for you.
